The teams on Shark Route have seen 12 species of shark to date!

The team at the African Continents southernmost tip have had 12 species of sharks sighted since their arrival at Struisbaai. The team have battled with unseasonal weather and poor visibility but on the good days have had some memorable sightings. Yesterday we had baitballs with huge dusky sharks lazily feeding on them with copper sharks and Brydes whales in close attendance. Today despite a strong wind we had six species of shark on the dive and are hoping that the clean water keeps pushing in. The team also dived on the southern most dive site in Africa. Roger Horrocks took the image.
